Fast Effective Disaster Response

"You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry." Psalm 10:17 (NIV).

Since 2009, you have enabled us to respond to over 100 disasters around the world. Our mission is to bring hope and light in the darkest situations as fast as we can when disaster strikes. Working through the local church and ministry partners on the ground, utilising all our experience in food distribution, water, sanitation and hygiene, shelter and medical services in Jesus Name.

With your prayers and support we are able to step into places of suffering with the sole purpose of glorifying God by serving others. Together we make Jesus' Name known in some of the most crisis-stricken areas of the globe.

"The work of the Good Samaritan is never over. We want to bring hope and healing wherever we can. When there is a crisis, we don't run from it. We run to it." - Franklin Graham President - Samaritan's Purse

Our DC-8 cargo plane can transport 40 tons of emergency supplies and up to 30 personnel to a disaster within 24 hours.

4 warehouses stocked with essential supplies, 15 field offices, 4 head offices and numerous ministry partners located around the world ready to respond at a moment's notice.

Our 80 bed Emergency Field Hospital is a mobile medical facility that is ready to be deployed to save lives in disaster situations wherever they happen in the world.

600 professional, highly trained Disaster Assistance Response Team members located around the world, on call 365 days a year and ready to respond.

In any disaster, we can utilise our strong relationship with the World Food Programme, our Water desalination units that provide 2,000 litres of water per day, and our wide stock of resources such as hygiene and shelter kits to provide lifesaving help in desperate situations.

When disaster strikes... will you answer the call?

We are actively recruiting new members for our Disaster Assistance Response Team, thank you for your interest in serving with Samaritan's Purse.

We are looking for professionals with experience in Humanitarian Programming, Medicine, Engineering, Logistics, Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Communications, Information Technology, and Security.
