Processing Centre Location

Glasgow Elim is found 10 minutes' drive from Junction 1A of M74, and 10 minutes' drive from Junction 20 of the M8 Motorway. The church is a 10-minute walk from the nearby Train Stations of Crosshill, Queens Park, or Pollokshields East. The Church is well served with local buses heading South to either Cathcart Road, Aikenhead Road or Victoria Road. 

There is car parking for around 40 Cars.  Please use the carpark rather than on-street parking as the Inglefield Street is narrow and heavily used during the day. The church is close to local eateries and Supermarkets, on-site there is access to a Microwave, Coffee Machines, and tables.

 

Bring some Christmas cheer, bring your smile and Christmas jumper and any snack you wish to consume in the minor hall which is onsite.

If a session is full, you will be able to add your name to a waiting list to make use of any sessions that might become available.

Children

Due to the nature of the activity, we cannot accept volunteers below School Year 3 or the age of 7 (Primary 3 in Northern Ireland, Primary 4 in Scotland). By arrangement we can offer brief tours of the processing centre for groups of younger children. Please inquire at Volunteer@samaritans-purse.org.uk
