Processing Centre Location

The Processing Centre can be found at Carryduff Building Supplies, 116 Hillsborough Road, Moneyreagh, Newtownards, BT23 6AZ. The building is located on the main Hillsborough Road (A1) near Moneyreagh, approximately halfway between Carryduff and Ballygowan. Please use the postcode in your sat nav and allow extra travel time during busy periods.

Things you will need to know

There is parking available onsite. Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins and wear warm layered clothing. Complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available. Feel free to bring the Christmas joy with Christmas jumpers and hats!

If a session is full, you will be able to add your name to a waiting list to make use of any sessions that might become available.

Children

Due to the nature of the activity, we cannot accept volunteers below School Year 3 or the age of 7 (Primary 3 in Northern Ireland, Primary 4 in Scotland). By arrangement we can offer brief tours of the processing centre for groups of younger children. Please enquire at Volunteer@samaritans-purse.org.uk.
