Provide Honeybees
OUR BEEKEEPING PROJECTS in countries such as Kenya, Cambodia, and Iraq help struggling families develop a sustainable income source. After Seangly’s husband suffered a debilitating injury, she worked hard to keep their farm going alone, but it wasn’t enough to make ends meet. She was thrilled when she learned that Samaritan’s Purse would be teaching people in her village how to become beekeepers. After only a few weeks of training, Seangly harvested her first batch of honey and put the proceeds into the farm. For £15, you can help someone like Seangly to become a beekeeper. Plus, families in the project are invited to attend discipleship classes so they can “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).
