Hai had given up hope of escaping poverty. She worked hard with her husband in the rice fields, yet they still struggled to make ends meet. Hai was thrilled when Samaritan’s Purse came to her community to help families learn to operate a business to provide for their needs.  “It’s been my dream to open this tailor shop,” she said. She is now sewing vibrant clothing and can better provide food, medical care, and an education for her children. Around the world, we are helping families like Hai’s move from subsistence living to more stable income generation.
