Phu’s (right) first pregnancy was life-threatening and she didn’t have anywhere to go for medical care in her rural Vietnamese community. Praise God she survived, and her next pregnancy was much smoother because we support a nearby clinic. She made regular visits to the clinic where we are providing maternal care, such as ultrasounds and prenatal vitamins, to help ensure a safe labour and delivery for mother and baby. We are also giving expectant mothers a kit with critical items for a newborn including clothing, diapers, and formula. For £55, we can provide mothers like Phu with many important things to help their babies grow healthy and strong. As we offer physical aid, we remind women of God's promise to be their “refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1)
