Patients at a hospital in West Africa often ask to see Musa* (above), a local pastor whose compassion and willingness to listen and pray make him an excellent chaplain. Musa encourages patients like Aminat*, a widow and mother of four, who arrived at the hospital with a broken leg that was infected. She was worried, lonely, and in severe pain. Musa prayed with her and reassured her of God’s love for her. He gave her an audio Bible and planted Gospel seeds in her life. World Medical Mission supports chaplains like Musa by providing training and resources through our Hospital Evangelism Program.
