Drill a Village Well

We drill wells worldwide in communities that lack a clean water source. During Liberia’s dry season, Prince and the inmates at Monrovia Central Prison spent hours at a hand pump trying to coax a little water out of the ground. “Without water, we cannot live,” he said. Samaritan’s Purse provided a reliable water source for the inmates by installing a new well and electric pump. We taught Prince how to maintain the prison’s water system and invited him to join our discipleship programme led by local church partners. We thank the Lord that Prince received Jesus Christ as his Saviour. “God has added more to my life. I have peace,” he said. With a gift of £8,000, we can drill a well for a community and tell people about our Saviour, who will “fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).
