Given the choice we would all choose the cleanest, purest, life-giving water... But thousands of people in South Sudan have no choice. They drink dirty, potentially life threatening water, as there are no functioning wells nearby.watch video
In Unity State alone, 170,000 people have been forced to flee violence, stretching water sources beyond capacity.
Due to the huge demand for clean water, one third of the existing hand pump wells have broken down
Long walk times and overcrowding at functioning wells force people to drink from dirty water sources closer to home.
