THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER

A PRAYER FOR NATIONAL COLLECTION WEEK

 PRAYER POINTS

• Pray for every child who will receive a shoebox gift this year –  that they may know God’s comfort and protection at this time.
• Give thanks for so many wonderful project leaders all over the UK who facilitate their church, school, workplace or community group getting involved with Operation Christmas Child each year.
• Give thanks for everyone registered as drop-off locations and Church Collection Centres 

UK STAFF & VOLUNTEERS

• Please pray for Operation Christmas Child volunteers and staff, that we would be of one vision and that we would give God the glory for all that we do in and through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child.
• Pray that volunteer teams will grow in relationship with one another and that there will be a spirit of unity across all teams.
• Pray that God will rise up new men and women keen to serve Him and further His kingdom through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child and The Greatest Journey.

OUR GLOBAL OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD FAMILY

• Pray for the staff and volunteer teams in each Operation Christmas Child sending country: US, Canada, Germany, Australia & New Zealand, Finland, Faroe Islands, Japan and Spain.
• Pray for Operation Christmas Child and The Greatest Journey volunteer teams and ministry partners in over 100 countries worldwide!
• Praise God for over one million teachers trained to deliver The Greatest Journey since the programme began.
• Give thanks for the 30.9 million children that have taken part in The Greatest Journey follow-up bible discovery programme since 2009.
