This year many of our UK shoebox gifts are going to Ukraine or the neighbouring countries like Romania and Moldova who are hosting many Ukrainian families. Watch a special message of thanks from Oksana, Inna and Margo who recently came to the UK through the Samaritan’s Purse Homes for Ukraine scheme. Having seen the impact of Operation Christmas Child in Ukraine, they were delighted to volunteer with us this year and passed on their thanks to you.

We believe that God has a special plan for every shoebox gift packed this year. Will you join us in praying for all the children who will receive shoeboxes this season, and for our partners overseas as they seek to share the Good News and great joy of the Christmas story?

Ana-Maria received a shoebox as a child in Romania. She recalls, “When we opened the boxes, I can’t explain the joy it brought to us, there was so much laughter and excitement. I remember looking around and thinking this truly felt like being in Heaven. It meant a lot to know that each of the boxes were sent by someone who thought of us. It made me feel special and that I matter. My shoebox was a reminder that God is real and that I’m not alone and through it I experienced God’s love. It gave me hope when I needed it most and changed my life completely.”
