We are looking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking People and Culture Manager, who is passionate about our ministry aims, to take the lead on the HR function for Samaritan’s Purse and also to support its sister organisation the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
As a member of the Senior Management Team this role would potentially suit a senior HR professional looking for a step up into a leadership position.
As an experienced and strategic HR professional you will have a good understanding of the environment in which we operate and the challenges we face to create effective people strategies, whilst also supporting our Christian values and ethos.
Your remit will involve coaching managers on leadership and structure, identifying and resolving key people issues, maximising individual and team performance and taking the HR lead during periods of organisational change, whilst bringing practical HR knowledge into every stage of the employee lifecycle.
With highly developed skills in resourcing, organisational design and conflict resolution, you will be a natural relationship builder with real vision and the drive and determination to bring about measurable results. Although experience, capability and Christian maturity with a passion for our ministry aims are more important than qualifications, it is likely that you will have a relevant post-graduate qualification, or equivalent professional membership.
