Major Donor Fundraising Manager

Full time, permanent
£38,000- £45,000 plus benefits
Based in Buckhurst Hill (close proximity to Central line)


Playing a key role, you will generate significant new and sustainable income, with a focus on implementing a robust strategy for securing large donations from new prospects and major donors (individuals and grant-making trusts).

It goes without saying that you will have excellent communications skills and a proven track record of raising funds from high value donors and trusts.

What’s more you will have demonstrable experience of managing projects and balancing multiple priorities; and, extensive knowledge of philanthropic and major giving trends in the UK, especially in the Christian sector.

Ideally, you will have at least five years’ experience of working in the charity sector and two to three years experience of a leadership role in major donor fundraising.
Due to the nature and context of this post the successful candidate will be expected to be fully committed to our Christian Ethos and able to demonstrate a personal commitment to the Christian faith.
