Mend Cleft Lip

27

In some countries, a cleft lip is considered a curse or a punishment for sin. Children born with these defects are often outcast, ridiculed or even abused. Samaritan’s Purse is sending teams of doctors to South Sudan, Bolivia and Liberia, offering surgery that mends cleft lips and gives people new hope for the future. A gift of £250 can help provide this simple procedure for a patient, changing their life and giving us the opportunity to tell them that they are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14).
