Vang was worried to the point of despair as she watched her baby son, Cho, waste away from malnutrition. Like many mothers in her remote Vietnamese village, Vang didn’t know the basics about health and nutrition—essential knowledge that she needed to help her son survive. Samaritan’s Purse provided supplemental food that brought Cho back to health, and our staff taught Vang how to cook nourishing meals so that he could grow healthy and strong. Around the world, new mothers lack the knowledge and resources they need to keep their precious children healthy. Your gift will help educate moms on proper nutrition, train local midwives, set up birthing centres and provide other essential care for families, while opening doors to share that they are beloved children of God. “Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you” (Isaiah 49:15, NASB).
