If Vanua Levu isn’t the end of the Earth, it’s close. It’s one of the 330 specks on the map that make up the Fiji archipelago. Ignored by most of the world, outsiders rarely travel to the pocket-size village of Batinivurewai which is extremely difficult to reach. But the treacherous journey didn’t stop members of a local church from taking Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts there during the rainy season. Following a festive outreach event, the children were invited to learn more about the Gospel through The Greatest Journey programme, and many children came to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Your gift can support the mission of Operation Christmas Child by making sure that shoebox gifts are processed and transported safely around the world, especially to hard-to-reach places like Vanua Levu where children in need are hearing the Gospel for the first time.
