BASIC DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT LIKE X-RAY AND ULTRASOUND MACHINES are often in short supply in remote mission hospitals. The only available machines may be older models that malfunction repeatedly. Replacement parts are difficult to find. Samaritan’s Purse assists these medical facilities by shipping equipment as well as medicines, syringes, bandaging, and other supplies that enable physicians to provide quality patient care. Our team of biomedical technicians travel to these facilities to install and maintain the equipment.
