Decide how to help
When Ernesto opened his shoebox and saw a football inside, he was overjoyed. The gift opened his heart to the Gospel, and now the 12-year-old boy is telling everyone about his new friend Jesus. “As God is helping me grow, I can help others grow and know about Jesus, too,” Ernesto said. His mother, Mirlanda, put her faith in Jesus as a result of her son’s testimony. Through Operation Christmas Child, we are sharing the Good News with millions of boys and girls in over 100 countries each year.
Some shoebox gifts are packed by people who cannot afford the £5 that helps us deliver their gifts in safe well-organised settings. By adopting a shoebox, you can partner with them to deliver the gift and show God’s love to a child.
(Please note this gift will not generate a bar code to follow a shoebox, instead it helps someone else who can’t afford to cover the cost of sending theirs. You can donate and generate a bar code for your own box here)
