WHICH CAME FIRST, the chicken or the egg? The riddle is irrelevant, because as Jesus taught, “Many who are first will be last, and the last first” (Matthew 19:30). The reality is that chicks can grow up to be productive egg layers that multiply for generations, blessing families and their communities. For a gift of £11, we can provide a needy family with a dozen chicks, a coop, and basic veterinary care—so a family will have eggs to eat or sell for income for many years to come.
