During the weeks surrounding National Collection Week (20th November to 16th December) volunteer drivers collect boxes from schools, churches and businesses and drop them into Processing Centres, using their own vehicle or a hired van or lorry.
Each dedicated driver plays a vital role in getting shoebox gifts into the arms of precious children around the world, allowing local partners to share the Good News of the Gospel.
We welcome drivers from anywhere in the UK but are particularly looking for drivers to cover the following regions:
We do carton our shoeboxes, so drivers should feel comfortable lifting and carrying. Manual handling guidance is given to all drivers to ensure this role is conducted safely. Many drivers like the option of being paired with a driver’s mate for company and support moving the shoeboxes.
Register your interest today and help change children’s lives this year!
