Craig, who was running for OCC, says, “I had a great run; I thought the first half was really good but I really started struggling from mile 20. My time was 3.56 in the end which I am very happy with.”

“It was a great honour to run the marathon for Samaritan’s Purse. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do so. It was exhausting and exhilarating in equal measure. My legs certainly hurt for the last 4 miles but the crowds were fantastic, willing us along. I finished in 5 hrs and 19mins which I’m very happy with.” Mandy, who was raising money for Operation Christmas Child and our Maternal Child Health Projects, also says: “My sponsorship total is still growing. Each day I am finding an envelope through the door!”
