Samaritan’s Purse UK cordially invite Christian medical doctors to a reception hosted by Lord McColl of Dulwich CBE at the House of Lords on Thursday 21 July 2016.

The event will be an opportunity to discuss the needs for Christian medical doctors in disaster settings in the world today, and how they are able to partner with Samaritan’s Purse UK to serve people affected by disasters around the world.

Dr NathalieDr Nathalie MacDermott, a paediatric and clinical research fellow at Imperial College London, will be speaking about her time working in Liberia with Samaritan’s Purse, responding to the deadly Ebola outbreak. You can also find out more about the Samaritan’s Purse Field Hospital, which was deployed for the first time in 2016 to assist following the earthquake in Ecuador.

We very much hope you will be able to join us. It will be an excellent opportunity for participants to know more about Samaritan’s Purse, and to understand how Christian medical doctors can play a bigger role in global disaster response operations.
