Pray:
•    As the pilot program comes to an end, we pray for a smooth transition and successful closure.

Maternal Child Health Project

The Leader Mothers in our Care Groups struggle to see real behaviour change because people are used to handouts and have developed a culture of dependency over many years of extreme hardship. Whilst the project is making huge strides to educate people in ‘The New Way’, there is still a sense of disbelief amongst the beneficiaries that the Leader Mothers are working voluntarily. They frequently state that they must be being paid. In addition, many people do expect something to be given to them for their participation in the project. Please pray for a deeper understanding of the voluntary nature of the project and for the sense of empowerment to be shared by all those who are involved with the project.
