The Samaritan's Purse Annual Conference

It is our pleasure to invite all friends of Samaritan's Purse to our annual conference, to be held at The Village Hotel in Swindon on the weekend of May 25-27.
The event is a unique opportunity to meet and spend time with supporters old and new, staff, and also hear from our fantastic overseas partners and other great speakers.The Samaritan’s Purse Annual Conference is here to fuel your assion for our work - including Operation Christmas Child - by supporting, equipping and connecting our volunteers, supporters and overseas partners.
The title of this year’s Conference is “Aim Lower, Think Smaller” and is all about children. We will be focusing on the next generation - celebrating children and exploring how we can help meet their material, spiritual and relational needs. We have a packed programme of practical ideas to help you understand the future direction of Samaritan’s Purse and the Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal.
Our special guest this year is Nancy Njagi, who is currently Programme Coordinator at the Centre for Urban Mission (CUM) in Nairobi, Kenya - responsible for delivering the Samaritan’s Purse Child & Family Support programme and will provide an insight into the work she has done with orphans and vulnerable children in this part of the world.
Also taking part will be Wandy Shongwe from Swaziland and Nic Balbutski from Belarus, who will be telling us about their work for Samaritan’s Purse and the impact we are having with children and families living there.
The cost of attendance is £145 per person (based on 2 people sharing) or £135 per person if you book before the end of February 2012. A single room is £160 or £140 for people booking before the end of February 2012
