Church Partnership
Imagine your church in the UK connecting with a church in the developing world - growing together, learning from each other, supporting each other as you both reach out into your local community. Or imagine starting a relationship with a project in a part of the world where we work – your church reaching out to those in need where you live and your partner project tackling issues like HIV and AIDS or access to clean water where they are.
That’s what our Church Partnership Programme is all about – connecting the body of Christ together to see God’s mission fulfilled here in the UK and around our world.
Our partnership philosophy
We have listened to you and we understand that you want to impact your local community as well as the wider world, not one or the other. We know you want your involvement with overseas mission to be relational. You want to be able to visit these places, to hear real stories from real people.
That’s why we have developed both resources that help you reach your community as well as opportunities to connect with churches and projects overseas.
Underpinning all of this is our distinctive approach to raising up mission-minded local churches in the places where we work - churches who will be Good News in both words and actions to hurting people on their doorstep. This is made possible through our HOPE (Holistic Outreach Partnership Empowerment) Programme – which aims to give local churches the encouragement, teaching and tools they need to bring lasting hope to their local community.
How can I get involved?
There are a number of ways churches in the UK can be involved in our Church Partnership programme:
Church to Church – partnership between a church in the UK and a church overseas
Church to Project - partnership between a church in the UK and a project overseas
Church to Country – partnership between a church in the UK and the in-country HOPE Prorgramme overseas
Please note this opportunity is only available for UK-based churches
